ChartsPod Footprint Bid-Ask View: Market Coverage and Data Limits Explained
ChartsPod lists four venues and shows venue availability per tool. Before reading a bid×ask footprint, confirm the market is covered and what the data source is.
Short answer
ChartsPod lists Binance, Bybit, OKX and Hyperliquid and shows venue availability per tool, so the bid×ask footprint may not be available for every market on every venue. Check the venue and contract, whether the footprint is built from public trades (side from the exchange's aggressor flag), row size, and how far back it loads. Bid×ask numbers are sell-aggressor volume on the left and buy-aggressor volume on the right at each price.
What it shows
| Element | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Left number | Sell-aggressor volume (hit bids) |
| Right number | Buy-aggressor volume (lifted asks) |
| Coverage | Per venue and tool |
| Source | Public trades |

Worked example
Illustrative: a bid×ask footprint loads for the BTC perp on one venue but not for a small spot pair on another; venue availability is shown per tool, so check before planning a study.

ChartsPod lists footprint and cumulative delta among its order-flow tools (public pages, 17 October 2026). Its public documentation does not enumerate individual footprint view modes or settings, so this guide describes what each concept means and what to check in the terminal; control names may differ.
