ChartsPod Pricing Explained: What the $0 Terminal Includes

ChartsPod lists its terminal at $0 a month with no tiers. Here is what that covers, what can still cost money, and what an account changes.

Short answer

ChartsPod's pricing section lists the terminal at $0 per month with no tiers, no automatic renewal, no trial timer, no card requirement and no indicator cap. That covers charts (20 chart types, 200 indicators, 73 drawing tools, up to 15 charts, bar replay, one-second bars), order flow, derivatives, options, screener, Formula Lab, backtesting, position planner, alerts, journal and workspaces. The cost you may still incur is AI model inference, billed by your own provider if you use the AI agent with your key. An account is optional and syncs saved work.

What can still cost money

  • AI model usage. The agent uses your own provider key, which ChartsPod says stays in your browser; the provider bills per use. See ChartsPod Subscription vs AI Usage Costs: What to Budget Separately.
  • Your own assistant via MCP. If you connect Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, their plans apply.
  • Trading. ChartsPod places no orders; exchange fees apply where you trade.

How this compares with paid tools

Paid charting platforms usually sell limits: more charts per layout, more indicators per chart, longer intraday history, or extra data. ChartsPod lists no indicator cap and up to 15 charts with no tiers. The trade-offs are scope rather than price: it covers crypto on Binance, Bybit, OKX and Hyperliquid, it does not place orders, and it does not index DEX pools.

For many crypto traders, that makes it a complement rather than a replacement: a multi-asset platform for macro charts and a free crypto terminal for order flow, derivatives and options.

Do you need an account?

No account is needed to chart, plot indicators, draw or use research tools. An account keeps saved work synchronised across sessions. See ChartsPod Saved Workspaces: What Syncs Across Devices? for what that means in practice.

Sources and methodology

ChartsPod capabilities were checked against its public overview, documentation index, markets and indicator pages on 17 October 2026. Exact control names inside the terminal can change between releases, so this guide describes what to set and check rather than quoting menu labels. Venue availability is shown per tool in the terminal. Worked examples use illustrative numbers. The original planning title referred to $15 monthly and $50 yearly plans; ChartsPod's live pricing section lists a single free terminal, so this article follows the live product.
