ChartsPod Options Gamma Exposure: Settings to Check Before Your First Analysis
ChartsPod lists exposure and zero-gamma analysis. Every gamma-exposure chart rests on a positioning assumption; the panel should say which.
Short answer
In a gamma-exposure panel, check the positioning assumption (who is assumed long or short), the expiries included, the units (e.g. $ per 1% move), the spot price used and the snapshot time. Changing any of these shifts the zero-gamma level and the size of exposure at each strike. Recalculate after large expiries and treat the output as a model, not observed dealer positions.

Common first-session mistakes:
- Model read as observation

- Stale after expiry
